I've been the overly organized one for as long as I can remember.
As a kid, I'd find any excuse to build a presentation. I once sat my parents down on the couch for a full PowerPoint on why I deserved the bigger bedroom over my older brother — complete with blueprints showing exactly how I'd furnish every corner. When they announced we were taking a trip to Hawaii, I came back with an itinerary: everywhere we should go, everything we should see, and what it would all cost.
The habit grew up with me. My first week of college, I built a spreadsheet to track every assignment, and it turned into a first-day-of-classes ritual — syllabuses in hand, plugging in every due date before the semester even started. That's when it hit me: if this made my life this much easier, it could do the same for other people.
That's how TopSheets was born. What started as one assignment tracker has grown into a whole shop of purposeful templates, many of them personally requested by people who needed help organizing a specific corner of their lives. A parent tracking childcare. Someone starting a pet sitting business. A person finally ready to look their budget in the eye.
Every template is built the way I'd want to use it myself: simple enough for beginners, automated so the math does itself, and — if I may say so — actually nice to look at.
